Connecting Walkway This section of Pencil to Pixel examines the unique process Pixar uses to create its animated films. Audiences will follow the evolution of a single character, Lotso from Toy Story 3.
Terminal 2 Featuring six hand made zoetropes with original artworks by Pixar staff. Conceived as a special project for the airport audience, director, Pete Docter and animators Don Crum, Angus MacLane, Austin Madison, Cat Hicks, and Kevin O’Hara contributed drawings.
Pencil to Pixel coincides with the larger exhibition, PIXAR: 25 Years of Animation at the Oakland Museum of California, through January 9, 2011.
