Rental Car Center The Port of Oakland/Oakland International Airport and its rental car companies jointly funded the construction of a consolidated Rental Car Center to house the on-airport rental car agencies in one locations. This $14 million facility, built by Pleasanton, California-based, Whiting-Turner Contracting Company, opened in August 2003. On-airport rental car agency customers are transported between the terminals and the Rental Car Center via environmentally-friendly common-use shuttle buses. |
